Mulletfest Band Comp
Dubbo will play host to another Mulletfest first.
With the help of our friends at Triple M in Dubbo, we are looking for the official Mulletfest Band. You will be taking the main stage at the Commercial Hotel in Dubbo on August 20 as part of an event that has become a global media phenomenon. The panel choosing the winners will include homegrown Dubbo talent Phil Stack (Thirsty Merc) and Drew McAlister (McAlister Kemp).
Award-winning trio Thirsty Merc’s new album Celebration is out June 17 and the band will be touring the country from July to September. Along with an impressive solo career, Drew is also one-half of McAlister Kemp. MK has just released a new single, Paid for drinking beer.
Their first studio album in 7 years, We Roll On is out on August 19. The country duo will be touring as the album hits the airwaves. We thank both the guys for taking time out of their schedules. They are proof of where a small country town beginning can lead. All you need to do is provide us with a verse and a chorus of a classic Aussie song of your choice (video or audio).
From there the panel will pick 5 finalists and come up with the ultimate winner who will be the official Mulletfest band. Fill out the form below to enter.
